About Tatiana Mendez, Esq.

Tatiana Mendez is a very highly rated and sought-after family law attorney in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and a published author in the field of family law: her book “Virginia Child Custody Guide” is available on Amazon.

She helps clients in complex divorce, custody and child support cases. Tatiana has extensive experience in contested cases and has also been the court appointed guardian ad litem (GAL) assigned by the court to represent a child’s best interests in legal proceedings in family court cases, including custody disputes and or neglect and abuse investigations.

Tatiana earned a B.S. degree in Psychology and a B.A. degree in Philosophy from Virginia Commonwealth University, with a minor in Religious Studies. Tatiana received her law degree from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach. She also interned for a year for the Federal Public Defender’s Office in Norfolk, VA.

Outside of the workplace, Tatiana loves to remain active with her two little boys. You can find Tatiana twirling in the air on aerial silks (like in Cirque Du Soleil) or playing outside. Tatiana considers herself a taco-aficionado.
