Our Story

At Artemisa Law, we believe the law should do more than dictate outcomes. It should protect, empower, and illuminate the path forward.

At Artemisa Law, we believe the law should do more than dictate outcomes. It should protect, empower, and illuminate the path forward.

Our name draws inspiration from Artemis, the ancient Greek goddess of protection, independence, and fierce loyalty to the vulnerable. Known as a guardian of the vulnerable and a guide through the wilderness, Artemis represents the values at the heart of our work: courage, clarity, and compassion.

Like her, we stand beside those navigating difficult terrain, whether it’s a parent fighting to keep custody of their child, or an immigrant traveling from afar to start a new life.

We chose the name Artemisa, its Spanish form, to reflect our deep commitment to immigrant communities and to honor the multicultural strength our clients bring. We know the system can feel cold, impersonal, and impenetrable. That’s why we don’t just file paperwork. We walk with you, shoulder to shoulder, helping you reclaim your power and write the next chapter of your story.

What We Stand For:

Protection

for what matters most: your children, your family, your future.

Empowerment

through advocacy that is both strategic and deeply human

Guidance

you can trust in moments of uncertainty and transition.

Whether you’re facing a custody battle, a divorce, or simply trying to build a life on solid ground, Artemisa Law brings a warrior’s resolve and a protector’s heart.

We handle uncontested divorce, contested divorce, military divorce, child custody, child support, and separation agreements—giving you clarity and strength through every stage.

Artemisa Law. Guiding Families. Defending Futures.

“Tatiana Mendez did an AMAZING job on my recent divorce. What was sure to be a long drawn out process, was made easy and quick due to all of Tatiana’s hard work. Thank you for EVERYTHING Tatiana. If anyone finds themselves in need of a lawyer, they should definitely hire Tatiana. Thanks again.”
